Charles Langham, MD

Dr. Charles Langham is a retired OB/GYN and clinical director after a distinguished career marked by his service to those most in need and we are so grateful that he continues to share his professional expertise with the community to further the health of the women in our country.  Dr. Langham served our country in the United States Army and completed a tour in Viet Nam before being honorably discharged in 1969 and pursuing a career in medicine.  He obtained his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Texas, Medical Branch in 1975 and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth Texas.  Dr. Langham practiced privately as an OB/GYN for 32 years during which time he held several distinguished leadership positions to include being on the Board of Directors at All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Chair of the Champions of the Clinical Transformation Team at Baylor Health Systems, Chief of Medical Staff at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth and Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Pediatric for three different DFW area hospitals.  Dr. Langham then turned to federal service, where he worked at the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a primary care provider and OB/GYN at a women’s prison in Fort Worth.  Dr. Langham was soon after selected as the institutional Clinical Director where he oversaw the care of over 1200 female inmates house at the institution before retiring in 2022, after 10 years of service to the federal government.  Throughout his career, Dr. Langham has been honored with several awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal from the US Department of Justice and the Dr. Marion J. Brooks Living Legend Award from the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum
