I started my first Breastfeeding journey at the age of nineteen.  I had zero knowledge of what I was going on, in that day and age because Breastfeeding was not pushed at that time. Although Breastfeeding was very challenging as a first time mother, I began to do my own research and read to find out ways to properly nurse my baby. Now, I am very honored to have gone through this 3 more times! It was a rough start with my first baby, but now Breastfeeding is a total breeze! The best years of my life have been nursing and bonding with each of my children through Breastfeeding. I hope to bring Breastfeeding awareness and as much knowledge through my own personal experiences to the table with any mother seeking to find support with Breastfeeding and be able to help. I want to bring more awareness on Breastfeeding to my community, I am very honored to have been chosen for the position of being a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor!
