Jamie Mihoko Doyle, PhD

Dr. Jamie Mihoko Doyle is a program director in the Education and Training Section of the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program Branch within NCATS’ Division of Clinical Innovation, where she manages a portfolio of Clinical and Translational Science Awards Program grants and the NCATS Diversity, Re-entry, and Re-integration supplements.

Prior to joining NCATS, Doyle was a team lead in the Division of Statistical Analysis and Reporting within the NIH Office of Extramural Research (OER), where she led analyses supporting trans-NIH programmatic activities, policy development and workforce planning. Prior to her tenure at OER, she was a program evaluator at the Health Resources and Services Administration, in the Bureau of Health Workforce, where she led the design, restructuring and evaluation of primary health care training programs. Doyle also has held regulatory and science policy positions at the National Institute of Mental Health, the Science and Technology Policy Institute, and Pfizer, Inc.

Doyle earned her doctorate in demography from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her postdoctoral training in epidemiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she examined social and environmental factors associated with injury and mortality risk in Guatemala and among Hispanics in Philadelphia.

Dr. Doyle was supported through a Pre-doctoral Diversity Supplement from NICHD and a Post-doctoral Diversity Supplement from NIAAA.
