Patricia Simon
Dr. Patricia Simon is an accomplished clinical psychologist and scientist, currently serving as the founding Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Oui Therapeutics, Inc. and Assistant Professor, Adjunct in the Department of Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine. She has made significant contributions to healthcare, particularly in the areas of digital therapeutics and the commercial translation of health-related innovations from academia.
At Oui Therapeutics, Inc., Dr. Simon drives the clinical aspects of the company’s efforts to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and evidence-based mental health interventions. The company has been recognized by CVS Health/Aetna for providing accessible and scalable treatments for individuals with mental health concerns.
At Yale University, Dr. Simon is the Director of Innovation to Impact at Yale (i2i), where she plays a critical role in helping scientists from across the country translate research findings into solutions that have real-world impact. Over 100 NIH-funded scientists have completed the i2i entrepreneurship training program, and graduates have received over $40 million in small business innovation research grants.
Dr. Simon is an active researcher and has authored or co-authored over 50 publications featured in outlets such as JAMA, Preventive Medicine, and Addiction. She has secured nearly $8 million in funding from agencies such as the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and National Institute on Mental Health (NIMH).
Dr. Simon earned her BA in Developmental Psychology from Duke University and her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
