Her thesis focused on the characterization and treatment of a novel mouse model of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex-Associated Autism in which she characterized an underappreciated role of neurodegeneration in this disorder. Dr. Sar\u00e9 has published numerous papers on the topics of Autism, Fragile X Syndrome, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, sleep, and Alzheimer\u2019s Disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Rachel Sar\u00e9 comes to NIDCR from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) as a health specialist with experience in research training and career development.
