NIH Visitor Information
NIH has implemented a new visitor policy to the NIH campus and pre-registration is recommended for U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (at least 30 days in advance) and required for non-U.S. citizens (at least 60 days in advance).
By registering for the symposium, all participants will be invited to pre-register for NIH campus access via a secure link emailed to the address listed in their symposium registration form. Pre-registration is optional for U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents and should be completed by February 2, 2026.
Pre-registration is required for non-U.S. citizens and must be completed by January 2, 2026. Information provided in the pre-registration form is secure and will not be seen by symposium organizers.
All participants must bring an approved form of identification to check in at the NIH Visitor Center upon arriving at the NIH campus (lawful permanent residents must bring their Green Card).
Non-U.S. citizens must have an NIH staff member meet them at the NIH Visitor Center and escort them during their time on NIH campus. Symposium organizers will contact non-U.S. citizens and provide more information about their escort.
