Dr. Harris leads the largest undergraduate academic advising office dedicated to serving undecided and exploring students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dr. Kelley S. Harris is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she graduated valedictorian of Baker High School in 1999. Dr. Harris majored in Biology with a Chemistry minor at Xavier University of Louisiana. At Xavier, she participated in the Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC) program and the Ronald E. McNair post-baccalaureate achievement program. Dr. Harris graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana with multiple honor distinctions: Magna Cum Laude, Honors in Biology, and Honors in Chemistry. Additionally, Dr. Harris was awarded the prestigious David and Lucille Packard Fellowship for graduate education. Over the past 14 years, Dr. Harris has held multiple professional roles. In her current role, Director of Cross-College Advising Service, Dr. Harris leads the largest undergraduate academic advising office dedicated to serving undecided and exploring students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
