He holds an appointment as an attending clinical&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brighamandwomens.org\/neurosurgery\"><strong>neurosurgeon<\/strong><\/a>, as well as a principal investigator in the neuro-oncology research&nbsp; laboratories at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brighamandwomens.org\/\"><strong>Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Peruzzi works together with a dedicated support team to provide the best, most timely and compassionate care to patients suffering from neurological disorders, particularly&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brighamandwomens.org\/neurosurgery\/brain-tumor-center\"><strong>malignant brain tumors.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Peruzzi leads a molecular biology laboratory focused in basic research to find a cure to malignant&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brighamandwomens.org\/neurosurgery\/brain-tumor-center\"><strong>brain tumors<\/strong><\/a>, and is also involved in multiple clinical trials for the treatment of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brighamandwomens.org\/neurosurgery\/brain-tumor-center\"><strong>brain tumors&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a>at the BWH, including oncolytic virotherapy and the use of novel microdevices to guide personalized chemotherapy to patients with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brighamandwomens.org\/neurosurgery\/brain-tumor-center\"><strong>brain cancers<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp; Dr Peruzzi has been continuously supported by NIH funding for his laboratory research since he &nbsp;joined the staff at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brighamandwomens.org\/\"><strong>Brigham<\/strong><\/a>.
