Dr. Yamanaka has contributed significantly to the understanding of the role of orexin (hypocretin) neurons to physiological homeostasis, with 125 publications in scientific journals, including Nature, Science, Science Advances, Neuron, PNAS, J Neuroscience, and J Clinical Investigations.
