13th Annual Society for Neuroscience Satellite Symposium on Motor Systems

This 13th annual Motor Systems Symposium was organized to coincide with the 2020 Society for Neuroscience annual meeting in Washington, DC. With the cancellation of the SfN meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the symposium will be held as a virtual meeting. The objective, in the tradition of the previous symposia, is to bring together an outstanding group of researchers and students investigating the operation of nervous system neurons and circuits generating motor behavior. The goal is to assess the status of the field, discuss strategies for future research directions, and to establish a foundation for interdisciplinary collaboration between senior and young investigators in the field. The meeting is supported by funding from NINDS, NIH.

Organizers: Ariel Levine, M.D., Ph.D. and Jeffrey Smith, Ph.D.
